Recommendations: LGBT+ Mods by Tiakall

Every dateable character in Stardew may be canonically bisexual, but for all the guys, gals, and nonbinary pals who want to queer up their playthrough a little more, may I recommend the following mods?

Gender Neutral Mod[edit | edit source | hide | hide all]

Link
This mod patches dialogue involving your farmer to remove gendered words and pronouns - lovely if you want to play a they/them non-binary farmer.

Platonic Partners and Friendships[edit | edit source | hide]

Link
For the aromantics among us, this mod lets you choose vanilla dateable characters to BFF and allows you to get up to 14 hearts with them without being married/romantically involved. Also rewrites their heart events to be platonic rather than romantic.

Multiple Spouses[edit | edit source | hide]

Link
Into polyamory? This mod allows you to date, marry, and smooch as many spouses as you think you can handle. (Also allows them to smooch each other!) Includes a rewrite of the group 10-heart events to be polyamory-friendly.

Multiple Spouse Dialogs[edit | edit source | hide]

Link
If you're into multiple spouses, you're going to want this mod as well, which allows your spouses to have dialogue with each other. Also excellent for the shipper in all of us. Includes a Shane/Harvey set of dialogue by Celty which is delightful.

Lumisteria Letters from Parents[edit | edit source | hide]

Link
Yeeting heteronormativity: not just for the farmer anymore! Modifies the vanilla letters and adds additional letters, with customizable parent titles that allows for same-sex or queer parents.

Custom NPC Riley[edit | edit source | hide]

Link
Possibly the only datable nonbinary character out there, Riley is a genderfluid they/them user who flops between masculine and feminine presentations thanks to some clever coding shenanigans.

Bye Bye Clint, Hello Clarice[edit | edit source | hide]

Link
This mod replaces Clint with a far more interesting trans (and PoC!) woman named Clarice.

Systemworks' Doctor Hazel[edit | edit source | hide]

Link
Another vanilla-to-custom swap, this turns Harvey into a trans woman named Hazel and beefs up the dialogue.

Juliet and Jessie, the Joja Clerks[edit | edit source | hide]

Link
In more subtle representation, Jessie is implied asexual and Juliet is implied female-leaning bisexual. You can't go wrong with a Lemurkat NPC mod though.

Ridgeside Village[edit | edit source | hide]

Link
You've probably already heard of Ridgeside, but there are two things in particular my queer heart loves about it: that Jeric is equally flirtatious regardless of your farmer's gender, and Lenny explicitly has a former relationship with another woman.

Diverse Stardew Valley[edit | edit source | hide]

Link
This beautifully drawn and highly intricate and customizable sprite and portrait replacement mod includes a trans Penny and trans Sam, with plans to add further additions to the rainbow.

Mx. Qi[edit | edit source | hide]

Link
Tired: gendered title Mr. Wired: gender-neutral Mx. This simple patch replaces every mention of Mr. with Mx., making it easy to headcanon Qi as nonbinary. Pairs well with Make Mr. Qi Handsome, which gives them a more androgynous look.

Pridematic Shards[edit | edit source | hide]

Link
Okay, these shard recolors are pretty neat-looking. Plus, gays can't resist puns. (Source: me, i am the gay who can't resist puns)

Pride Pastries[edit | edit source | hide]

Link
In Exhibit B of "gays can't resist puns": gaystries. Pride Pastries includes a plethora of new sweets and goodies to make in all your favorite rainbow combinations.

JA Colorful Tulip Pride Edition[edit | edit source | hide]

Link
Let the LGBT+ among us who has not planted some version of a pride flag in their gardens cast the first stone. (Animal Crossing counts, too!) Now you can take the guesswork out of colored flowers and get packs themed for each major pride flag.

Lumisteria Flower Pride Banners[edit | edit source | hide]

Link

Lumisteria has a number of lovely CF mods, but none quite as lovely (or queer) as these banners combining flowers and pride colors. DGA version coming soon!
